    We have also introduced our own rating system - The 'Bliss Rating', our assurance of quality. Spavox has assembled a panel of spa travel experts, who have navigated the globe, to not only select but rate over 400 of the world's greatest spa destinations. Inclusion in this directory is tremendously hard to achieve, automatically meriting the Blue Bliss Rating. To elevate that exclusive status to Silver or Gold is a very rare accomplishment indeed.

    The Bliss Ratings :

    GOLD - The pinnacle of spa excellence, these destinations define the very nature of bliss. Each member of this elite group represents everything one could possibly desire from a spa experience. Nothing in this world is perfect, but those bestowed with a Gold Bliss Rating come as close to that lofty standard as humanly possible.

    SILVER - These world class spas approach idyllic heights in virtually every category. Surpassing any reasonable expectations in spa facilities, accommodation, cuisine and hospitality, any destination achieving a Silver Bliss Rating will completely satisfy the most discerning guests.

    BLUE - It has been estimated that there are over 35,000 spas around the world. Given that number, just a shade over 1% have been honoured in the 2007 Spavox directory with the Blue Bliss Rating or higher. These immaculate spas are the epitome of class, sophistication, professionalism, hospitality, skill, product and treatment variety, presentation, care and passion. This rating is not given out lightly -- only going to the spas who most closely fulfil the intricate Spavox criteria.
